No Place Special is the title and no place special it is (but in a good way!)
You walk in and immediately you are greeted with a scene that is modern across the northern area of Michigan; a log bar!
We stopped here because we needed some breakfast and yelp led us to a different restaurant right next door but upon getting here we noticed this little place right next door without a name on yelp so of course we had to try it!
The service was great! It was Sunday so I can't say how it is during the week, but the waitress here was fantastic band on point, no complaints in this area!
A quick note the staff wear bright orange shirts that day staff! Almost like at a downtown Grand Rapids club or something, just an interesting note.
Food was good, nothing super special but good, I ordered the steak and eggs which were cooked exactly as asked and they made the eggs in the steaks grease to give the eggs a great smoky taste.
The biscuits and gravy that my wife ordered were slightly burnt on the top but otherwise very delicious!
The price was reasonable a tad high but I expected so with the steak!
All in all I would recommend stopping and grabbing a bite if you are driving by or in the neighborhood it's worth it! -

Get little pit stop for a good bar burger after spending a day 4-wheeling. The 1/4 burger looks small, definitely advise the 1/2 pound and waffle fries.

The food was great, and the prices were very reasonable. I had the lumberjack burger, which included 1/2 pound burger, cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. I suggest skipping the "special sauce" which is just bbq sauce. Lunch with fries and a drink were less than 15$.
